HOOD RELEASE W/BROKEN CABLE

Question: Does anyone know how to open the hood when the hood release cable has just broken? We ordered the part but it won't be here for several days.

Answer: Use a bent clothes hanger and go through the front grill to grab the hook that opens the hood. You can also try a very thin screwdriver to do the same job just be careful not to scratch your hood while doing it
