| 1999 9-5 2.3t auto check engine comes on but runs fine. Sometimes check gearbox comes on also. When gearbox light comes on air conditioning gets warmer and engine temp gauge show cold, mpg meter goes to ----- and tach becomes irregular then light goes off and everything returns to normal. Car will restart sometimes. However the car will turn over but not start occasionally. If car won't start I disconnect battery cables and wait a while it will start but not unless disconnect battery cables to reset things. I already replaced crank sensor and that worked for 2-3 weeks now new problem. Any ideas |

| Isn't the symptom of neutreal switch no starter energy. My car spins fine but no light. When turn key on everything seems normal fans etc.. then suddenly everyhting gets quieter when car will not start. It starts most of the time but has been so it will not start even after waiting like 20 minutes, but if I remove battery cable for a bit then would start. I heard this resets things. When driving and gearbox light comes on air conditiong gets warmer and tach, engine temp, climate control display power, & SID lose power almost instantly then in a minute or 2 later check gearbox light goes off and things resume as normal. Car seems to run fine when it starts. I have replaced crank sensor, engine temp switch, cleaned MAF, cleaned fuel filter, air filter. |
