Key fob locks no longer work

The key fob starts the car fine, but need to use the metal key to open the doors. The door locker inside the car only works if all the doors are closed. If I open the driver door I can no longer lock/unlock other doors in the car. This is problem is a nuisance. Anyone else ever encounter this or have some ideas what it may be? Both key fobs no longer work for unlocking/locking.

It could be the alarm module or a problem with the fob batteries

If it's the batteries, they're easily obtainable online. I got two for $2.68 including shipping on Ebay. Check your owner's manual for the specific battery you need.

vansam - I have the exact problem. I have replaced the battery and still get the same message. Have you had any luck?

My key fob has recently started playing up. When I attempt to unlock the car, the button does not work, but the other two buttons work perfectly, so ive ruled out a battery issue.

At first it happened a couple of times intermittently, but today it packed up and ive not been able to get it to work again.

I had to unlock the car with the key in the lock, but the alarm goes off and then I cannot disable the alarm with the fob because the button does not work Is there any way to open the car with the key without triggering the alarm and what could be causing the key fob issue with just one button?

Same problem here: the fob starts the car, but the remote doesn't work.
This is a replacement fob into which I installed the circuit board from the old, broken fob along with a new battery. Multiple clicking of the unlock button doesn't seem to make it work. Any suggestions?
