I'm having the problem where my car will turn over a few times then stall. After several attempts it finally stays running.
From what I've read it looks to be an issue with the fuel check valve (the pump itself was replaced about 3 years ago). Can anyone point me to some instructions for replacing it, or a diagram at least? I'm assuming it's located at the fuel pump, which means dropping the gas tank, correct? And is there anything specific I need to know before attempting this?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks. |

After doing this a couple of times recently I would highly recommend to buy the entire supply line with the valve because it tried buying just the valve itself and it was defective so I ended buying the entire supply line. The next thing I would highly recommend is to apply some lube or grease to the o-rings as it makes it easier to replace or remove next time you need to work on the tank or fuel pump.
Hopes this helps |
