ok, so i own a 1995 NG900SE Convertible turbo, the problem is in the instrument panel. months ago i installed a new headunit and afterwords nothing was wrong with the car, recently tho, i had to take apart my dashboard to do some wiring to replace most of the speakers. this required me to take out the SID unit.
after i reesembled everything, i noticed that my instrument panel never turns on. even with the headlights turned on and dimmer dial turned all the way up, it doesnt show up.
i then noticed when i unplug the SID unit, the instrument panel turns back on, but never turns off. BUT the instrument panel with out the SID unit stays on regardless if the headlights are turned on or off.
ive checked all fuses and everything is fine, the problem only happens when i plug in the SID.
so again, ill clairify:
SID plugged in, no instrument panel lights at all.
SID unplugged, instruement panels on regardless if headlights are on or not(which i do not mind)
anyone have this problem or knows a sollution? |
