1999 9-5 Fuel Intake System

My 1999 SAAB 9-5 2.3 L Turbo with Auto Trans is popping check engine lights with codes 1251 and 1260 regularly. I clear the codes but they come right back after only a half mile of driving. Codes indicate a possible problem with Mass Air Flow Meter. Sometimes we have erratic idle, low idle, stalling, hard cold starting. But, once running the car runs fine at speed. I looked at the limp home tabs on the throttle body but can't really tell if the limp home solenoid fired or not and the pics in many of the forums are not too clear. Any ideas would be most helpful.

2 codes are the limp mode go to the faq section and it will show u how to reset it but u must clear code then reset throttle body in that order
