I have a 1997 Saab 900 SE.

Today, while driving along the interstate, my clutch suddenly became extremely easy to disengage. It used to feel nice and heavy. I have had to adjust the "self-adjusting" cable via push and pull method in the engine compartment for a couple months now. The clutch still engages and disengages at the proper points during pedal travel, as far as I can tell. Haven't had a chance to test it for slipping under power, but it felt fine driving home. It feels like a toy and I am not a fan of the light clutch.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Josh

You might just need to adjust the cable
