| Oil is dripping out of my Saab 93 tailpipe and smoking horribly. I have good compression and no oil in the turbo intake and since plugs are oily I am assuming the exhaust side of the turbo is not leaking because it would not show up on the plugs if it was. I guess it could be an oil ring(165compression all 4), but my question is this....What is more likely?? oil rings?? valve seals?? or valve guides (146,000 mi.). Prior owner did run the oil a little long and i was hoping someone w expieriance could guess. I mean like...im hoping I can just pull the valve cover and just replace the seals. Could bad seals even make that smoke so profusely?? |
