blue smoke when changing gear

Thanks sb for previous help. After fitting new throttle body, car runs ok, no fault codes. but since the I get a big puff of blue smoke when I change gear. no smoke at any other time no matter how hard I press the car.
I bought the new breather kit but not yet fitted.
I also can hear the turbo whining.

ck the turbo fins for looseness also gp ahead and install the breather kit

at the time the garage fitted the tb, he also replaced the big breather hose with a piece of tubing to the cam cover. it is only since then that I get the smoke and increased oil consumption. previously there was no smoke at all.
