Hello all you Saabers,I have been searching for 2 days and can't find the answer to my problem;
Was driving and started up a hill and car started bucking just a little and would not take any more gas,so eased on up the hill and on level ground it got better.Decided to turn around and see if I could get back home,approx-14 miles,car ran perfect as long as i didn't try to give to much fuel.got home turned car off and started right back up with no problem.Went back 1 hour later,car started and then died,did this 4 or 5 times and then would not start any more.Tried again this morning after car sat all night and it started then went dead in 5 sec.Would not start again.Did all the basic tests and found that if I Take the vacuum hose loose from fuel pump regulator at the fuel rail.car starts and sounds fine?Please advise where to go from here? |

| thanks guys for all your help.the problem was the fuel pump.Got a used one for 45 bucks and it works perfect. |
