Hi to all,

After putting in the new rear-engine mount over weekend, the ride overall has greatly improved, and the loud pop/creaking noise has diminished, but is still present during turning, and breaking. I wonder if the strut is the issue, the engine mount under the crank pulley, or some part of the suspension on on the right (passenger) side. I have walked besides the car and tried to pinpoint where the noise seems to be coming from, and it appears to be at the base/bottom of strut, but not sure if it is that, the engine mount near the crank pulley, or perhaps the sub-frame, which my mechanic removed over a year ago.

Any advice, as always is extremely appreciated-and if anyone has any torque settings for the subframe bolts, I'd like to just check that to make sure that was put back properly.

Lee

PULL EACH SUBFRAME BOLT OUT ONE AT A TIME AND CLEAN AND PUT ANTISEIZE ON BOLT AND BOLT HOLES 100NM

yep-that eliminates the small popping.

Thanks,
