inner/outer cv joint and/or tripod diagnose

Good morning everyone,

Thanks to sb for help on my last topic! Fixed! Now, a new question...

I am 90 percent sure that I will need to replace the tripod bearings on my axles, (95 900s) after reading as much as I could find on the subject here. I am experiencing vibration under load at higher speeds, NO clicking on tight turns. This leads me to believe that the inner cv boot(s) and tripod bearings are faulty and I'll need to replace them. My question is the following:

Is there any way to be sure of this without disassembling the drive axles? I figure I'll just get the parts and replace them to be safe, but is there something else that could be the cause of this vibration that I should check first?

RAISE THE CAR UP AND WHERE THE TRIPOD GOES INTO THE DRIVER IS THERE ALOT OF PLAY SOMETIMES THE DRIVER WILL HAVE ALOT OF RUST AROUND IT AND DISCOLORED ALSO LET US KNOW THANKS

Inner Drivers
Can someone supply more info about inner drivers? What are they, where are they, how to replace and how to buy? A search for 'inner drivers' displays no results.
