| I am working on a 2003 93 with some sludge problems and I installed a Glowshift oil filter adapter and oil pressure gauge. After an oil screen cleaning I am getting readings of 100 psi at a cold idle of about 1250. Is this normal? At hot idle of 950 it is around 18 psi and 36 psi at 2krpm. I checked the oil relief valve and it is not scored and slid out easily. Should the relief valve hold it to 60 psi max even when the engine is cold? Thanks. |

| Hmmm, seems high but I would worry much more about low than high |

Thanks. I am going to check another car to see if I get the same thing.
