Parts OE Verses Aftermarket: We offer both OE parts and aftermarket parts. In many cases both parts come from the exact same place. Sometimes the only difference is the box and the price! We have specifically left out certain aftermarket brands that we feel do not meet our high standards. Our reputation is the most valuable part that we offer so you can rest assured that we WILL NOT sell parts that we can not confidently stand behind! All over the site you will see Brand listings, OES, AFT etc... You can click on these links to get info about the brand. Because we have a ton of parts not all brands will be listed. If you do not see a brand then assume it is aftermarket.
Parts Prices: How can our prices be so low? Our answer is quite simple! Volume and a low profit margin! Most Import car parts are not that expensive, but many companies have no problem making outrageous profits at the customer's expense. Our objective is to keep you as a happy customer for many years by selling you quality parts with fair pricing.
Price Changes: Protech1 inc/Thesaabsite and all of its affiliates reserve the right to change pricing at anytime. Prices change daily and can be difficult to monitor. All prices are subject to change without notice and can be changed at any time. The administrators will do everything within their power to honor a price but there are times when things happen that will not allow us to honor a price. The use of the site is an agreement to these terms. Site admin.
Parts & Service: If a problem exists with your order we will do whatever is necessary to make you happy. The bottom line is "We want you as our Customer". The cutoff time is 3:30 eastern standard time. There are some cases that we might be able to get the products shipped from the West coast but if you HAVE to have your products please call us at 1-800-774-4496 so we can help you determine whether or not they will make the shipping deadline of 3:30 Eastern Standard time for expedited shipping.
About us: The entire concept became a reality when several people who had been involved with the automotive industry for 42 years began to have a vision of what automobile customers needed and how they could have there needs met. After close interaction, we began to notice that there was significant need for someone to provide the Import enthusiast with the total package concerning their cars. As this "Vision" became a reality we began to search for the pieces that would complete the puzzle! After significant research we developed a TEAM of individuals that had the same vision. This TEAM consisted of a ASE Mastertech (for 15 years) and a Computer Programmer (with 25 years experience) to help us make this work. The one common denominator that we all share is that we have a genuine belief in our lord and savior JESUS CHRIST! It is our commitment to you that we will do everything within our power to provide you with fair prices on parts for your vehicles along with our expertise regarding these cars. We do not claim to be perfect, just forgiven!
Where are we located: We have 3 divisions of Our Websites, 2 in Elon, North Carolina and one in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We have 65 warehouses throughout the United States that our parts can be shipped from but our main warehouse is location in Burlington NC. We try to ship every product from our Burlington warehouse but if it can not be shipped from there we will ship from the closest warehouse to you.

Parts - Warranty: Failures of parts due to improper installation (i.e. not in accordance with O.E.M. specifications), accident, misuse, over-heating, or improper maintenance are not covered by this warranty. All parts come with a one year warranty (unless otherwise stated from the manufacturer of said part)! We have had situations where people say the part is faulty and want to return it for a refund without getting a replacement. This cannot be done. We will be happy to replace the part with a replacement part as long as it is under warranty. We simply do not want people buying products for diagnostic purposes and then wanting to return them after the part does not fix their problem.
Parts - Returned Parts: We work very hard to provide you with all the instructions needed to help you diagnose problems correctly so please understand that returns can be detrimental to any company. Over the years we have had to tighten up on our return policy because of the amount of returns that are rejected. We value your business tremendously but we have rules we must follow in-order to provide quality service and keep our prices low. Below is our return policy:
Policy: All returns must be authorized by the administration & must be done within 45 days of the purchase. There is a automatic 15-25% restocking fee on all return to stock parts (not on parts that are misboxed or misshipped). The administration will choose whether to issue a website credit (preferred method) or credit card refund. In some cases the restock fee can be reduced if a website credit is applied which allows you to use the return amount on a future order. ELECTRICAL PARTS are not returnable (Any product that runs off the electronics of the car are classified as electrical). We simply do not want people buying products for diagnostic purposes and then wanting to return them after the part does not fix their problem. All returns MUST be returned in their original box or bag.
Restocking Fees & Why? We understand that things happen but please understand that we have to pay employees to process orders, pay credit card fees, pay for warehousing cost, pay for shipping boxes, tape and pay employees that work in our warehouse. Each time an order is shipped or when they are returned the cost is the same. That is the ONLY reason we charge restocking fees. We must recoup those cost. Thanks for understanding.
NOTE: Some OES parts are Special Order items we order from Saab. They are NOT returnable for ANY reason. This includes any parts that you supply the part number for, parts from the Master Database, and parts for Saabs that are older than 8 years. Please understand we are not trying to be difficult, but we cannot invest our resources on products that do not move quickly.
CORE RETURNS: Cores apply to remanufactured parts which means that you replace your bad part with one that we build. You then return the part to us to be credited the amount that you were originally charged for the core. All cores must arrive back to us within 30 days for credit.
ALL core returns must be in their original boxes or NO credit will be issued. No Exceptions can be made here as our manufacturers require this from us. Cores taken apart will NOT be refunded. They must be in the original condition. No exceptions.

Parts Orders to International Customers & FREIGHT: The Thesaabsite is only responsible for the parts while they are in the US. We are not responsible after parts reach customs. NOTE: We can only accept payment for International orders by Bank Wire Transfer, Western Union, or American Express. We have over 50 USA warehouses and ONLY ONE that we can ship internationally from. Any part that ships internationally must be Shipped EXPRESS overnight to us personally so we can ship internationally. If multiple parts are shipped we absorb the freight. In some cases the freight to you may show less on your freight sticker but the freight to us may cost us more to get the order out quickly to you internationally. Another situation that is awkward is bank wire. We charge 20.00 in our shopping cart for Bank wire and in many cases our bank wire fee is 30.00 or 40.00 which we also absorb. Shipping Policy: The shipping policy depends on your location. Our system is set to default to the closest of our warehouses. In most cases this means 2-3 days. When you place an order with us NEXT DAY, SECOND DAY, ETC... (notice the cart does not say NEXT DAY AIR, SECOND DAY AIR) This does NOT mean that we will automatically ship via NEXT DAY or SECOND DAY. If we default it to the closest warehouse our cost on the part may have actually been higher at the time we purchased that part and stocked the part in that warehouse. There is no intentions here on our part but to get you the part the quickest and to keep our part prices low we attempt to do this consistently. There are many times that we have to ship a multi-line items expedited or ground which means we absorb the shipping cost on these orders not you. Thanks for understanding this. Saabsite admin.
Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is charged at the 2nd day rate because of the extra costs involved and does not mean the order arrives in 2 days. We are in NO WAY responsible for any customs charges that accompany orders being shipped to Canada or ANY COUNTRY. We cannot control the package once it has left the USA.
Parts - Refused Orders: Keep in mind that all shipped orders require work on our part. There will be a 15% to 25% restocking fee on all refused orders.. We understand that things happen but please understand that we have to pay employees to process orders, pay credit card fees, pay for warehousing cost, pay for shipping boxes, tape and pay employees that work in our warehouse. Each time an order is shipped or when they are returned the cost is the same. That is the ONLY reason we charge restocking fees. We must recoup those cost. Thanks for understanding.
Shipping to alternate addresses: All products must be shipped to the billing address of the credit card unless the second address has been added to the credit card as a verified address (We do NOT ship to PO Boxes unless they are APO addresses). The reason for adding secondary addresses is because your credit card company sends bills to the billing address only and any other address is not valid unless your credit card company has it on file. This is done for your protection as well as ours and there is no exceptions. When checking out of our shopping cart everyone sees this information on a popup screen and must exit out of that screen before proceeding with a second address. If you ignore the popup screen the order will NOT be processed until everything is corrected. We understand that some people have children in college & people get broken down in different locations but these rules must be followed in-order for us to prevent fraud and to protect your credit cards. DO NOT assume that because the credit card goes through and you get a confirmation screen that the order will be processed. It will not be processed unless everything matches correctly. Hundreds of other major corporations also follow these rules online as well. Shipping to an alternate state throws up the biggest flag of all when it comes to Fraud. The rules must be followed in every circumstance and no exceptions can be made, period. It is our goal to support Saab as a company and as a car maker. We are here to support the Saab community in any manner that suites Saab car owners. Parts Problems & how we handle them: The old saying when it rains it pours seems to hold true with certain customers. When something goes wrong with your order or when the following occurs: (a part is mis-picked, a part is not in the box, the wrong part is shipped, a warranty issue, etc....) We will do what we can to get the issue resolved but keep in mind that rules must be followed in-order to get these things handled. If a part is installed and fails, the labor is the responsibility of the customer because we know nothing of your mechanics ability which can have a huge impact on the parts being installed. We do not pay labor for any reason but we WILL bend over backwards to get you a new part and adjust prices on a future order to show you that we do value your business.
What do I do if I get the wrong part? Call as at 1-800-774-4496 or 336-685-3150. When you get the wrong part we will either send you a tag or ask you to return the items to a certain address. If we are going to send you a tag then you MUST wait for the tag and return the incorrect part using our tag so it goes to our warehouse. If you do not wait for the tag we cannot credit the shipping back on the part because we have already paid for the tag once. Bottom line: wait for the tag unless we ask you to send the part back to an address. We charge you for the reshipped part until we get the wrong part back.
Why do you charge us for YOU shipping the wrong part? The reason we charge you for the 2nd order is because most people would never return the wrong parts if we did not do this. We must have those parts back to put back on the shelf.
Why will you not issue refunds on parts that are warranty? We have had situations where people say the part is faulty and want to return it for a refund without getting a replacement. This cannot be done. We will be happy to replace the part with a replacement part as long as it is under warranty. We simply do not want people buying products to see if they will fix their car and then returning them because they did not really need them. Why must all returns & cores have to have the original boxes? We must have the original boxes on all cores and on parts that are new returns. If you get a new part and take it out of the box and find out it was bad or wrong then it must be returned in the correct box. We cannot issue credit if the part is not in the box because we need it to resell the product.
Why do I have to pay taxes in certain states? Rules apply according to different states. Most states make us collect taxes from customers if we have warehouses in their states.
