BUMPER REMOVAL REAR

Open the tailgate & Remove the weather-strip along the bottom edge
Undo the two bolts retaining the load eyelets and the two plastic nuts holding the sill scuff plate
Fold the luggage compartment carpet towards the front.

The retaining nuts are in vertical pairs with metal flanges either side of them. They are 17mm diameter. To remove the bottom two retaining nuts, you will need a deep socket as there is insufficient clearance either side for a spanner and the bolt extends too far out for a standard socket.

Remove the sill scuff plate by pulling it straight up by the clips & Undo the four bumper retaining nuts
Remove the plastic molding that holds the front edges of the bumper to the wheel housings
Lift away the bumper by pulling it rearwards so that it comes free from the brackets
