Removal of Clutch Master Cylinder
| STEP 1 | Remove the lower dash section on the drivers side below the steering wheel |
| STEP 2 | Remove the spring, clip & pin off the clutch pedal |
| STEP 3 | Put a towel in the floor board to prevent fluid on your carpet |
| STEP 4 | Remove the battery & its cover |
| STEP 5 | Remove the Electrical fuse box unit |
| STEP 6 | Remove the fluid from the fluid reservoir |
| STEP 7 | Remove the hose from the brake reservoir |
| STEP 8 | Remove the ABS unit connector and move it aside |
| STEP 9 | Remove the brake pipes but clean around them first |
| STEP 10 | Remove the ABS unit & its bracket |
| STEP 11 | Remove the master pipe clip & remove the pipe |
| STEP 12 | Remove the nuts that hold the master & remove the master (15 ft lb torque) |
| STEP 13 | Refit in reverse & bleed the clutch by using the info below: |
Clutch Master Cylinder Bleeding instructions:
| STEP 1 | Remove the reservoir cap & top of the fluid |
| STEP 2 | Loosen the bleeder nipple |
| STEP 3 | Using a bleeding tool for the reservoir top or place a rag over the air nipple |
| STEP 4 | Apply pressure to the reservoir until the air bubbles go away at the bleeder |
| STEP 5 | Tighten the bleeder nipple once the fluid gets solid coming out of it |
| STEP 6 | Top up the brake fluid |
