Removal of High Pressure AC Hose (small hose)
| STEP 2 | Evacuate the AC system |
| STEP 3 | Remove the intake hose and Air mass meter & move to the side |
| STEP 4 | Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield |
| STEP 5 | Loosen the bypass valve & move aside |
| STEP 6 | Remove the oil cooler hose (automatic only) |
| STEP 7 | Remove the fan motor housing |
| STEP 8 | Remove the turbo pressure hose & move aside |
| STEP 9 | Remove the AC high pressure hose to compressor (torque 15 ft lb) |
| STEP 10 | Remove the AC high pressure hose to drier (torque 5.9 ft lb) |
Removal of Low Pressure AC Hose (large hose)
| STEP 2 | Remove passenger headlight, turn signal & grille |
| STEP 3 | Evacuate the AC system |
| STEP 4 | Remove the intake hose and Air mass meter & move to the side |
| STEP 5 | Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield |
| STEP 6 | Loosen the bypass valve & move aside |
| STEP 7 | Remove the oil cooler hose (automatic only) |
| STEP 8 | Remove the fan motor housing |
| STEP 9 | Remove the turbo pressure hose & move aside |
| STEP 10 | Remove the AC high pressure hose to compressor (torque 15 ft lb) |
| STEP 11 | Remove the AC high pressure hose to drier (torque 5.9 ft lb) |
| STEP 12 | Remove the AC low pressure joint block at the service junction (6 ft lb or torque) |
| STEP 13 | Remove the AC low pressure hose at compressor. Access under car (14 ft lb torque) |
