To check the bypass valve for replacement simply attach a vacuum hose to the nipple as shown in the picture below and apply suction to the valve. If the valve holds vacuum then it is good. If the valve does not hold suction is must be replaced

| STEP 1 | Remove both clips on each side of the turbo bypass valve and slide then down the hose they reside on |
| STEP 2 | Pry out the valve with a small screwdriver. In most cases you will be able to remove the valve easily by pulling on it |
