Door Panel Removal
| STEP 1 | Remove light in door by removing screw with T10 Torx tool. Slide light assembly out and remove wires. |
| STEP 2 | Remove screw in hole where the light is mounted with T25 Torx tool. (This one is kind of hidden behind insulation material) |
| STEP 3 | Remove oval panel under door handle. Pry gently (from the front to the rear) and it will pop out. |
| STEP 4 | Remove screw holding plastic trim around door handle with T25 Torx. After screw is removed, the trim piece can then be taken off. |
| STEP 5 | Remove round plug in top and bottom of door pull handle. (Pry them to get them started then slide them out) |
| STEP 6 | Remove both screws from top and bottom with T25 Torx. (Don't try to pull the handle off.) |
| STEP 7 | Remove the covers on the bolt heads on either side of the door pocket. |
| STEP 8 | Remove the uncovered bolts with T25 Torx. |
| STEP 9 | Pop the bottom of the door panel off pulling it towards you. There are white nylon inserts that hold it to the door frame.. |
| STEP 10 | Raise the door panel up to loosen it from the top window sill. |
| STEP 11 | The door panel should be free at this point. |
Window Regulator Removal
| STEP 1 | Remove 10mm bolt from top of regulator track. |
| STEP 2 | Remove 2 10mm bolts from bottom of regulator track. |
| STEP 3 | Remove attaching clips and door liner. |
| STEP 4 | Remove the 2 10mm bolts that fasten the window to the regulator's carrier and gently lower the window into the door. |
| STEP 5 | Remove the 3 10mm nuts that hold the motor assembly. |
| STEP 6 | Disconnect the electrical connections. |
| STEP 7 | Extract the old regulator from the door. |
New Window Regulator Installation
| STEP 1 | Remove the 3 10mm bolts holding the mounting bracket with the hex rubber mounting studs on it. |
| STEP 2 | Remove the 3 hex rubber mounting studs. (a 19mm socket fits OK) |
| STEP 3 | Install the 3 hex rubber mounting studs on the motor mounting plate on the new regulator. |
| STEP 4 | Attach the new regulator's motor power pigtail to the motor. |
| STEP 5 | Put the new regulator in the door. |
| STEP 6 | Mount the motor assembly and attach with 3 10mm nuts. |
| STEP 7 | Install the 3 10mm bolts in the top and bottom of the regulator track. |
| STEP 8 | Raise window by hand and attach window to regulator carrier with 2 10mm bolts. (You might want to leave these loose until you've tested the new regulator so the window can move and adjust itself without binding.) |
| STEP 9 | Cut off electrical connector from old regulator motor with enough wire to be able to attach it to the motor power pigtail. |
| STEP 10 | Connect the RED on old connector to BLACK on pigtail, BLACK on old connector to BLUE on pigtail. |
| STEP 11 | Reconnect the electrical connections to the car and test. |
| STEP 12 | If all is well, tighten the bolts referred to in step 8 and reassemble the door panel. |
