Question: I just bought a '95 900 convertible and have a couple of things I'm working on. First, the winshield wipers overshoot the end of their stroke so the end of the blade goes off the glass and onto the post at the side. Can this be adjusted?
Second, the winshield washer sprayers don't work. I suspect the pump as I disconnected the hose where it goes to the hood and no water came out of it, so it's not simply clogged spritzers. There's water in the reservoir, and the fuse is fine. Ideas?
Answer: Loosen the blade and reset it to the correct rest position when it is not running and it should stop over-running the position. The nut just gets loose and the arm goes all over the place. The washer issue is likely the pump
