Question: After a bunch of recent and necessary repairs one problem I had that I cannot get rid of is an intermittent front wheel vibration that occurs above 60 MPH sometimes worse than other times and sometimes barely existent at all.
TCan front wheel bearings cause this problem. hey are quiet and don't exhibit any of the traditional symptoms but I can't think of anything else as everything else has been replaced or repaired?
Answer: Double ck the inner drivers are they full of grease. I would bet the problem is there. If not, check the rims to be sure nothing is bent.
Solution: Since I submitted the question I had the tires rotated and road force balanced. This time we marked the tires to where they line up to the rims as the front end specialist believes the tire or a couple of tires might be moving on the rim as I have had the tires balanced prior and each time they are out. The road force shows the tires are fine from that perspective. All well on the drive home from the mechanic. I'll keep an eye on the Tires and see of the problem reappears.
