There appears to be an issue with the Saab 95 ABS unit that will cause the Speedo to not work. We have found the source of the problem but we are not sure that we have come up with a suitable repair without triggering unwanted codes that can be read. There are companies currently fixing the units for around 200.00 but we have decided not to sell them until we know that the fix is exactly as we prefer. The instructions for replacing the ABS control module located on the side of the ABS unit is below:
Remove Battery and Battery Box - Arrow points to ABS module
Remove nut, this Lets you move the fuse box out of the way
Remove 2 Nuts, this Lets you move the fuse box out of the way
Bottom Connector, I used a screwdriver to help me slide this off the bottom of module.
Torx Head, Remove module screws.
Other Screws, 3 Screws on each side.
Slide Clip, Clip that holds connector, slides to left. (Line it up when re-installing)
Module removal, Pull module straight out. (Carefully align when you re-install) Module shown at angle
Module guts, Inside the module
