Thermostat Replacement 4 Cylinder

STEP 1

Lift up car

STEP 2

Remove Front skid plate cover under car (center one)

STEP 3

Open coolant reservoir (WARNING IF HOT LET COOL OFF!)

STEP 4

Drain coolant

STEP 5

Loosen hose clamp to thermostat housing (in the end of upper radiator hose)

STEP 6

Remove hose and move to one side

STEP 7

Remove both bolts that hold the thermostat housing

STEP 8

Remove thermostat (torque 16.2 lbf ft)
