Instrument Cluster Removal

[Saab 95]

STEP 1

Remove upper and lower steering column screws

STEP 2

Remove the turn signal indicator and wiper switch

STEP 3

Remove the radio

STEP 4

Remove the SID unit

STEP 5

Remove the ACC or heating and ventilation unit

STEP 6

Remove the switches to the right of the steering wheel

STEP 7

Remove the fuse box cover on the left side of the dash

STEP 8

Remove the connector for the lights switches and press out the lights switch unit and uplug the unit noting the order of black, green and orange

STEP 9

Remove the two button blanks

STEP 10

Unscrew the 6 screws and 4 clips on the dashboard, 6 screws and 4 clips

STEP 11

Remove the dashboard cover

STEP 12

Remove the four screws holding the main instrument unit

STEP 13

Unplug the two connectors. one 24-pin and one 12-pin connector

STEP 14

Remove the main instrument unit
