| STEP 1 | Loosen Reservoir cap to release pressure & raise the vehicle |
| STEP 2 | Remove the Passenger front cover below the radiator and drain radiator |
| STEP 3 | Unplug and remove the air mass meter with the hose leading to it (this is the piece on top with the big black rubber hose going to it) |
| STEP 4 | Unload the V belt tensioner and remove the belt from the Waterpump and power steering pump. (you can unload the tensioner by turning the it to the right. Then tensioner is the item with pulley on it located above the alternator |
| STEP 5 | Remove the hose that connects to the hose beside the air mass meter (this is the breather pipe that attaches to the intake pipe and the valve cover) |
| STEP 6 | Unplug the boost valve and the engine lifting eyelet just behind it on the engine |
| STEP 7 | Remove the turbo waste gate hoses & that Turbo bypass valve |
| STEP 8 | Remove the heat shield by removing the one nut and two clips |
| STEP 9 | Remove the Turbo intake hose and cover up the turbo so nothing can fall into it |
| STEP 10 | Undo the steering pump and move it to the side |
| STEP 11 | Remove the water pump cooling hoses and the two pipes that run the length of the timing cover |
| STEP 12 | Remove the 3 three coolant pump retaining bolts and remove the attaching tube as well. Replace all borings and water pump as necessary. |
