Step 1. Remove the rear brake disc. Click here for those instructions: Saab 95 rear brake disc replacement information!
Step 2. Remove the handbrake return spring and unhook the actuating cable
Step 3. Remove the inner springs, pins, Adjusters and remove the shoes. See setup below.

Step 4. Refit in reverse order and tighten wheel torque to 81 foot lbs. Don't forget to adjust the handbrakes where the wheel will make one full revolution before coming to a stop.
Step 5. Be certain to pump the brake prior to driving off.
