NOTE: Early models had a center pulley that many people actually remove by replacing the original belt with a shorter version. There is really no purpose for the center pulley other than stabilizing the belt but the later model cars actually went away from the center pulley configuration. Many people will buy the 6PK1815 to put in their car in the case of a catastrophic AC compressor failure as well. This might prevent you from being stranded if the compressor fails.
NOTE: Pulley failures can often be identified by noise coming directly from the failing pulley.
