FOG LIGHT & BULB REPLACEMENT

Saab 93 Fog Light Replacement

Step 1 Remove the 2 screws-retaining nuts at the base of the fog light
Step 2 Unplug and remove the fog light
Step 3 Install the new light and refit the 2 screws-retaining nuts
Step 4 Remove the plug from the FOG LIGHT (you may have to remove the FOG LIGHT slightly to get at the connector)
Step 5 Reinstall in reverse order.
Step 6 Remove the bulb by turning the socket to the left about 50 degrees & pulling it out

NOTE: The fog lights will not need to be programmed if you just replace the light or the bulb. This is basically an informational section that lets you know how they can be programmed by Saab or someone with a Tech 2. The Fog lights can be programmed 3 ways. They are below.

Way 1 They can be programmed to turn on by themselves if the lights switch is in position 1 or 2
Way 2 They can be programmed to turn on only when the main lights are turned on
Way 3 They can be programmed to turn on when the light switch is in position 1 or 2
