CONVERTIBLE TONNEAU MOTOR REPLACEMENT

1. Lower the top
2. Fold down the rear seat and pull the emergency release for the top.
3. Move luggage mat toward the front of the car
4. Remove the sill plate
5. Peel back the Weatherstrip molding for the trunk and move it out of the way
6. Peel back the luggage trim on the right-hand side and move it out of the way
7. Remove the right rear taillight
8. Undo the four joint retaining screws
9. Remove operating cables for the soft top cover latches that are attached to the bracket & arm.
10. Remove the three bracket screws
11. Remove emergency closing lever cable from the bracket & unplug the connectors
12. Remove the bracket with the motor attached and remove the potentiometer PRIOR to shipping your old one to us! If you don't it will get broke and it is expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
13. If you are going to send your motor to us as a core to rebuild please do not attempt to modify it! If you do you may not get the core refund from us.
14. Refit in reverse order but remember that the top must be programmed by your local dealer or someone qualified with a Saab Tech 2 tool to program the top with.
