Removal/Installation Instructions of the Drive belt
Step 1. Remove the Air cleaner and move it to one side.
Step 2. Relieve the tensioner pressure by using a Ratchet extension and insert a 6mm drill bit or the like into the positioning hole. Be care not to allow the tensioner to slap (causing it to break) at the rest position.
Step 3. Remove drive belt off the pulleys.
Step 4. Remove the right front wheel, the wheel insert cover and remove the belt:
Step 5. Install the new drive belt in the same manner as removal being sure that the belt grooves are all fitted in the pulley grooves: Refit the wheel insert and the right front wheel. Fit the drive belt and check its position on all the pulleys.
Step 6. Run the engine for a minute or so and shut off. Check to be sure that the belt is positioned on the grooves.
