Installation instructions
If you are replacing the top with a top where the rear glass was bonded with new style that is clip mount then you must modify the top stack first in-order for it to work

Place material on top stack
Make sure the centre mark for the window frame is in front of the centre hole on the fifth bow & secure w/clamp
Secure the corners of rear rail with clamps
Raise fifth bow half way and check that material fits around fifth bow and rear rail corner
Make cuts in the edge of material to be glued so it fits better to the stack. Use stack and the old material as a template
-Glue the rear edge of the roof material to the fifth bow w/3M Super Weather-strip Adhesive. Apply the adhesive to the underside of the fifth bow, approx. 10 mm up on the upper side of the fifth bow, and on the edge of the roof material
-Glue the roof material starting in the center of the fifth bow and working toward one corner & hold with clamps & do the same to the other side of the fifth bow
-Secure the roof material to the corners of the rear rails of the top stack before the adhesive dries. Use clamps to prevent material from becoming crooked
-Work the material thoroughly over the fifth bow before the glue has dried. Otherwise, there may not be enough material to go round the corners of the rear rail. The seam should be even and tight round the fifth bow & allow glue to dry for 12 hours
Remove clamps & apply thread lock to the screws that will hold the guides
Install the wiring for rear defrost through top and plug in connectors
-Cut away any excessive material round the fifth bow. Cut from the inside of the outer flange on the sealing strip so that adhesive spill is concealed by the sealing strip. Use a razor blade. Make sure the flange for the sealing strip is visible
-Press the sealing strip into place on the fifth bow. Use soapy water on the seal to facilitate fitting.
-Raise the soft top so that the fifth bow is locked
-Fold back the roof
-Attach 4th bow to fifth bow and make sure it will not move during top fitment
-Pull the roof material flap over the fourth bow and centre it with the marking. The centre is marked with a cut on new outer roofs. Stretch tight and staple on the material flap
-Place the felt strip in place over the fourth bow
-Fold forward the roof material to the rear rails of the top stack. Glue the material to the rear rails using 3M Super Weather-strip Adhesive. Allow to dry and remove clamps
-Place covers back in place below rear rails & put rear rail seals back in place
-Thread the cables through the sides of the roof material
-Blind rivet the rear side ribbings to the middle rail on the top stack & pull the rib over the linkage
-Blind rivet the cables flat side out
-Glue the outer roof to the first bow. Start at the corners, glue and fold down the flap. Cut away any excess material on the flap
-Screw on the retaining strip to the first bow
-Blind rivet the front side ribbings to the front rails of the top stack & do the same for the rear side ribbings
-Re-install the front rail seal retainers and seals
-Fasten the outer roof to the second and third bows
-Check the windows and seals and how they fit. You may need to adjust the 2nd & 4th bows to get the fitment correct
-Adjust the fourth bow by loosening the screws and moving it up or down. When tightening the screws back use red Loctite
-Check top and adjust as necessary.
