| NOTE: DI cassette failures are fairly common. There are 2 versions of the cassette. The earlier version has a set of wires coming from the cassette & the later model has a plug like the picture shows. In-order to test this component simply turn it over, install plugs, ground each plug to the battery ground & check for spark. See faqs below for testing procedure! CAREFUL!!! | NOTE: Ignition amplifier failures are common failures. Failures can often be identified by checking spark from the center of the distributor. If no spark is present & the coil and rotor button specifications are correct, the ignition amplifier will most likely be the cause. | |||||
| NOTE: There are Bosch numbers like 022710047 on some of the part numbers like 8980534. When you see these Bosch numbers make sure you match up the numbers on your unit to the Bosch numbers we have listed to make sure that you are ordering the correct one.
