| NOTE: We have had several people asking the difference between the Urethane and standard Saab bushings. The basic difference between both bushings are the Factory Saab bushing is a bit more difficult to install! Both of them have equal vibration qualities. Beware of some the Urethane kits on the market that are very hard! Those kits will present more engine vibration issues. Our kits are soft urethane not hard!!! The Urethane kit # 7577554U will fit both upper upper engine mounts located above the alternator. This is the 3 piece bushing kit! 1 kit is needed for each upper mount and the kit includes everything needed to replace each mount. One can remove the original mount by cutting the center section out and then the sides of the original mount with a hacksaw (or similar). No specials tools are Needed to install the Urethane kits. |
| NOTE: 9000 mount failures can be identified by noting that the engine lifts up drastically went accelerating with the brakes on. The most common mount failure is the one located below the water pump. | NOTE: The original mounts were Hydraulic mounts and were filled with a "Thick Viscous" substance to classify the mounts as hydraulic. The aftermarket companies that offered hydraulic no longer offer them which led us to carry the Solid mounts. These mounts are excellent quality mounts have shown no issues at all. |
