| NOTE: Clutch pressure plate and disc wear are related to the way the car is driven. Necessary replacement can generally be identified by noting that the engine tends to rev up when the clutch pedal is released (with only minimal car movement). The kits that contain the throwout bearing are noted above |

| NOTE: Clutch Slave cylinder replacement on the 9000 is fairly common (especially on high mileage cars). The Slave should always be replaced when replacing the pressure plate and disc. The most common failure is leakage due to seal failure. Seal failure can be identified by noticing brake fluid leakage where the engine and transmission are bolted together at the bottom. |
